Los Angeles-area allergists will be conducting free asthma screenings in Marina del Rey and Rancho Palos Verdes this month.
The events are part of the 15th Annual Nationwide Asthma Screening Program, sponsored by the American College of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology, and will take place in more 200 communities across the country.
Anyone with breathing problems, including children and adults, is welcome to attend free of charge.
Events will be from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Wednesday at Marina del Rey Medical Offices, 4650 Lincoln Blvd.; and from 7 a.m. to noon May 14 at the Palos Verdes Marathon at Terranea Resort in the Fisherman’s Access parking lot, 6610 Palos Verdes Drive South, Rancho Palos Verdes.
