Chambersburg Area school board to vote on budget, tax hike
The Chambersburg Area school board is expected to vote tonight on the district’s final budget, which calls for a 5.5 percent property tax increase. A preliminary budget was approved by the board in April that includes a property tax increase to 89.62 mills.
