Sanchez amendment requires state to provide asthma care to high-risk children
Children on Medicaid who suffer from chronic asthma will receive better care at a lower cost to taxpayers thanks to an amendment Rep. Jeffrey Sánchez, D-Jamaica Plain, successfully included in the 2011 state budget proposal passed this week by the House of Representatives.
